Our ad-hoc IT support service allows you to call out one of our engineers at short notice. Many of our contracted clients started with us on an ad-hoc basis, got to know us and recognised the benefit of having one of our contracts.
Ad-hoc work is invoiced hourly and typically incurs a travel charge if you are more than 10 miles away from us. There are no response times nor SLA’s but we generally manage to attend promptly. This service allows you to sample our quality service and, in most cases, there will be no charge for a visit in the event that you decide to take out a support contract with us.
With ad-hoc there are no safeguards such as remote monitoring of your server, no telephone support and no guaranteed response times. For these reasons many clients progress and opt for a MaxHours Support Contract, which provides reassurance of having these safe guards yet is available on a cost effective on demand basis.
